The last Sunday in September is National Gold Star Mother's Day. In honor of Gold Star Mothers and the sacrifices of their sons and daughters, we ask that you light a luminary at your home each year. For information on the event, please visit www.GoldStarMothersDay.com. 

Our kit includes 18 pieces for 6 full luminary sets. Buy several sets to line a drive, use a few on your porch or sidewal, or share them with your neighbors and friends so each of you can light one candle on this special night. 

Each kit includes 6 bags, 6 bases, 6 tea light candles, and a flyer explaining when to light your luminary. The gold-color bags are flame resistant and measure 6 inches wide by 3 1/3 inches deep by 11 inches high. The stars are illuminated once the candles are lit. The base is a re-usable plastic form by LumaBase® that you fill with water and place the tea light into the molded holder. The weighted base is then placed inside the luminary bag. The Lumabase can be used over and over again for other luminary events you may participate in.
