showering. The watch is precision quartz japanese movement and features 12/24
hour military time. The olive drab face has luminous hour, minute and second hands. There are
three interchangeable heavy-duty canvas watch bands in khaki, black and olive drab. The case
and bezel are made of alloy; the back is stainless steel.
This is an
essential for your loved one in the military. It can be worn during service and training for
most military occupations and is perfect for your Marine, Sailor, Soldier or Airman stateside
or deployed.
PLEASE NOTE FOR PARRIS ISLAND RECRUITS ONLY: Recruits are not
allowed to wear watches until after the crucible. If you have a recruit in boot camp in Parris
Island, it is our understanding that once the Crucible is complete the new Marine may wear a
watch. If your recruit writes home to ask for a watch, we believe this watch is an excellent
choice and meets the guidelines provided to them for purchase of a watch. If you plan to buy a
watch for your newly-minted Marine, we suggest doing so about a week prior to the crucible,
have it shipped to YOU, then ship the watch to your Marine to arrive after the crucible but
before graduation. You may then include a note of congratulations to your new Marine! If
you have a recruit in San Diego, the watch may be purchased but DO NOT ship it to your recruit;
present the watch to your newly minted Marine when you see him in person.
